 In a 10 year project over 7 phases, the Littlejohns have transformed their early 1900s terraced home from EPC Grade D to Grade A. Having embarked on this journey to save money and reduce their impact on the planet, it would be hard to argue that their goals have not been achieved. For instance - in 2020, before installing the full rainwater harvesting system, the Littlejohns used 87 cubic meters of water. In 2025, they have used just 67 cubic meters for the same time period (8 months).And this year there electricity provider paid them. All electricity for the house, and charging the electric car for the year, was free, so far. And only sent 112kg of Co2 to the atmosphere.
