Lane End House

 A certified Passivhaus newbuild overlooking the Tamar Valley, this project is a rare example of a single-property greenfield development on the edge of Dartmoor. It’s dark timber cladding and a slate roof have been chosen to help this contemporary design-led home sit considerately within the landscape. A large solar array and incredibly low heat-loss means this property always has a net-surplus of electricity to sell back to the grid, even with an electric heating system and an electric car to charge. Features also include an MVHR and use of natural materials throughout.
