Binkham Farm, Yelverton

 Detached 1960s-built bungalow of standard construction, previously heated by an inefficient LPG boiler. We fitted an air-source heat pump, PV array and home battery, with the aim of reducing energy use and improving comfort. The house is now fully electric, using time-of-use electricity tariffs and load shifting to make better use of cheaper and surplus electricity.
